Global Mobility Visa
This visa (live 11th April 2022) will let overseas businesses send workers to the UK temporarily to establish and/or expand their businesses. It consolidates:
-
(Tier 2) Intra Company Transfer Visa
-
(Tier 2) Intra Company Graduate Trainee Visa
-
Sole Representative of an Overseas Business visa
-
(Tier 5) Temporary Work – International Agreement visa
This route is the Government’s response to the MAC ICT study.
The Skilled Worker visa will likely remain the main route that businesses use for senior staff & technical specialists planning to settle in the UK. But the skilled worker route requires a UK presence, which used to create a chicken-and-the-egg complication, that was not always solved by the Sole Representative of an Overseas Business visa route.
The Global Business Mobility visa route will cater to 5 types of posting:
If you want to come to the UK on a Global Mobility visa, or if you are a company wanting to send staff to the UK, please get in touch.
