2026 Costs of applications

In 1988, when I started doing immigration work, there were no UK government fees whatsoever. Now settlement (permanent residence) applications for a family can cost as much as a new car, even before one pays for professional help.

We can not sidestep those government fees for you. But we can usually ensure that the expensive application is not unexpectedly refused: the Home Office will tell you that their fee is to consider your case, it does not guarantee approval.

Our fees are driven by the time taken, with a rate (before VAT) of £500/hr ( £350/hr for a Senior Associate, £250/hr for an associate). But, after a consultation, we are usually able to quote a fixed price.

Consultations are £350 for one hour, which is usually enough to identify any weaknesses in the case, and estimate how long things will take. If you want to proceed, we then write up a summary of the consultation (which typically takes as long as the initial consultation, and has the same cost)

Sponsor licence applications: £7,500 - £15,000 (Skilled Worker, GBM, Student)

CoS Allocation requests £1,000 - £2,000

Further information responses £2,000+ (varies greatly)

Audit, Suspension, revocation work often £10,000+ (varies greatly)

Sponsorship of an owner/relative £2,500+ extra

CoS Drafting & SOC analysis £1,000 - £1,500

Skilled Worker or Student visa £1,500 - £2,500

GBM Expansion Worker (1st) £5,000

Other GBM £1,500 - £2,500

Dependents: £1,250 - £2,000 each

(Spouse & children under 18 applying with the main applicant)

Fiance(e) or unmarried partner £2,500 - £5,000

Global Talent endorsement & Visa £5,000 - £15,000

High Potential Individual Visa £1,500 - £3,000

UK Ancestry Visa £2,500 - £4,000

BNO (Hong Kong) visa £2,500 - £4,000

Innovator Founder Visa £5,000 - £15,000 (with endorsement support)

Settlement or Naturalisation £2,500 - £5,000+

Our fees do not include disbursements (government fees should usually be paid by you directly to the government).

The examples assume no prior adverse immigration history, no discretionary / outside the rules aspects of the case, no urgency, and where you give us all data/documents required in a timely manner. They do not include the costs of any appeals.
